Gravy Train…

KUALA LUMPUR: The defence money is short; everything has to be pared down, even essential training programmes but the gravy train goes on The story below on the launching of LIMA 09 is a perfect example of such happening. Indeed they had the foresight to hold the ceremony at a low key facility, FELDA’s and not a five star hotel as in previous years. Nonetheless, its the government that will be paying a lion share of the funds to hold the event in Langkawi next year. Just wondering whether they could even fill half of the hall this time around…

  • No...the non-operational PT-91M is much more impressive.

Can also show the 'dud' Metis-M (ask lah the Army for their success rate in firings).

What about the Iglas that cannot lock on? I reckon this was an operator fault since they were shooting at Banshees with an IR flare and the Igla has ECCM that ignores these sources unless you xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx (OPSEC). Malu....zip for 2 in live fire. Get Djigit with it......

Oh, we can also show the Sea Skua free fall unguided missile.

Or the Aspide Surface to air MISSile.

This is too cruel, like clubbing baby seals. But boy, it is fun.....:P
