Waiting for UNIFIL, again

Written on October 4, 2006 – 10:51 pm | by Marhalim Abas |

Its confirmed, the Malaysian contingent for the Lebanon will leave for the Middle East country on Nov 5.

And it appears that the Malaysian contingent will fly there via Hercules transport planes. As I mentioned in my earlier posts, it is probably wiser if we flew on chartered 747s but at the moment, it seemed at the moment we are still going to Lebanon on the quad props.

As I also mentioned earlier, I hope the ships carrying the logoistics equipment, trucks etc will leave the country, perhaps on the second day of Raya.

Otherwise, our boys first two weeks there, will not amount to much more than a paid vacation.
